As I was reading "The New Literacies of Online Research and Comprehension: Assessing and Preparing Students for the 21st Century With Common Core State Standards" it hit me that the struggle is not over with technology... it has only just begun. In the article it says that
"Being literate today does not necessarily ensure that one will be fully literate tomorrow since new technologies will always appear, regularly requiring additional new literacies."
New technology is always going to be around and even someone who knows a lot about technology, like Dr. Mcverry will still be learning new things everyday. In class he told us that he learns a lot just by teaching our class. Even if you think you have mastered technology as a whole, you still will never stop learning it.
Technology will forever be a never ending cycle...
